As the academic year progresses, we assess the students  in the following ways:

  • They are  observed while working in their ability groups
  • Questions or complex problems / tasks are posed to solve
  • Independent completed work is assessed 
  • Regular online assessments with assessment tools.

At BIS learning and assessment strategies are applied to suit the diverse learning styles of each student. Differentiated learning ensures there is no bar set to curb student achievements and development. We monitor the child’s progress at regular intervals throughout the academic year, facilitators will review each student and identify patterns and trends in order to create individual support plans to ensure each student makes optimal progress. Our Academic Honesty policy endorses authentic and original views from students.
