Pastoral Care and Nurturing are the crux of our Toddler Program. Personal Emotional Social development is very crucial in every child’s early years and our class room engagements are specially chosen to provide our students plenty of stimulation at this age. Our toddlers enjoy the challenges they are provided with to help them grow and develop their curiosity. They get ample opportunity to interact with their peers and develop positive relationships, engage in creative play, all of this helps them build their social, communication and sensory skills, and encourages a sense of curiosity about the world and a love of learning. Every child is unique and is constantly learning and can be taught to be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children learn and develop well in enabling environments and Schooling for toddlers is a learning blend of play, sounds, voices, language, surroundings, sensory explorations, dance, singing. The framework for our Toddler program is curated with established facts and simple reasoning to raise happy children.
Ethos of education in Toddler classes – The materials in the classrooms are unfinished and unstructured so that the child can fill in their imagination and we have a daily rhythm of routine activities that modules around play and learning in seasonal themes. Indoor free play, clean up and meal times are conducted with awareness. Story telling are carefully chosen tales that are rooted in learning for this very young age. There is time to go wild in the free outdoor play time. Teachers may engage in practical and artistic activities that the children can readily imitate and connect with, washing laundry, painting, gardening. Students are taught to care for the materials used during activity and clean up after themselves. Hygiene is taught in the most age appropriate ways.
