Foundational Year Program (FYP1 & FYP2)
For this age group, we engage in an informal discussion with parents and observe the child to ensure a comfortable start.
Early Years Program (Nursery to Prep 2)
There are no entrance assessments for Nursery to Prep 2. A parent interview and student observation help gauge the student’s readiness and age-appropriate development.
Primary Years (Grade 1 to 5)
Admission involves Math and English assessments, followed by an interview with the Programme coordinators. These assessments guide post-admission support, not the offer of admission.
Middle Years (Grade 6 to 10)
Grade 6 entry requires Grade 5 completion. A prior knowledge assessment in English, Math, and Science is conducted, followed by an extensive interview with the programme coordinator to understand post-admission support.
Admission Evaluation
Within 7 days, the admissions committee declares the result of the interviews. Once cleared, parents are required to submit the application form with relevant documents.
Bridge Course Programme
Explore BIS’s teaching approach through the bridge course, fostering peer relationships and understanding our learning environment. You may enrol your child in this unique programme which ensures that children get an opportunity to explore the pedagogy of learning at BIS and get acquainted with the environment and ambience of the school. It also gives the child an opportunity to experience the approach of inquiry, action and reflection and develop a strong peer rapport with our existing students and facilitators. The course is scheduled for the month of April and is meant for all new students joining
