Student Recognition Programme
An initiative aimed at motivating our students and recognizing their efforts in various areas. This initiative is crucial for fostering positive behaviour and encouraging exemplary work among our students.
The purpose of the BIS Student Recognition Programme is to celebrate and encourage exemplary conduct among students by recognizing those who consistently embody the school's core values— (RIWEP).
Here’s how the programme works:
- Awarding Kudos Cards: At the heart of this programme are Kudos Cards, which will be awarded to students who consistently demonstrate our cherished values in their daily actions and interactions across various domains, including academics, extracurricular activities, and adherence to essential agreements like punctuality, uniform compliance, and behaviour.
- Tracking: Each Kudos Card awarded to a student will be put in the student’ s handbook and recorded by the school, ensuring that both the student and the school keep a record. This ensures transparency and allows for an accurate tally of cards received throughout the year.
- BIS End of Year Awards: These efforts will add an exciting dimension to our end-of-year awards. The total number of Kudos Cards each student has accumulated will be calculated determining the recipients of the end-of-year awards, recognizing those who have consistently demonstrated excellence.
- BIS Behavior Matrix: This is introduced to students to understand and embody the true “Blissian” behaviour expected in all aspects of their day-to-day conduct. This will be shared and displayed in classes.
- BIS 3-2-1 Point Scale : In tandem with this, we are rolling out a 3-2-1 Point Scale, which defines consequences of forms of non-adherence, such as uniform violations, non-punctuality, attendance issues, plagiarism, late submissions and disrespectful behaviour, which will be also shared with students.
